Get your taxes done using TurboTax
@wrshirleytaxes101 my guess is the email from 10/23 was referring to online version not desktop.
if it turns out online premier version will work for you note Intuit is offering to switch from desktop to that for no extra charge. There should be a prompt when you try to install it and details of that offer.
there is also a way to upgrade Win 10 to Win 11 without the TPM requirement if your machine is otherwise ok, but I don't know the tech details.
alternatively if none of this works out you should be able to get a refund from Intuit and switch to alternative s/w.
also consider if you are on Win 10 ESU you will need to move to Win 11 some time before next October, so you could also check out Win 11 upgrade options over the holidays, otherwise you have to change tax process then likely still upgrade to Win 11 after filing. The s/w is not fully ready yet anyway, the 1099B section is not available and online not available til mid Dec. There will be a lot updates coming due to the big tax bill, so nothing is really ready yet and you have some time to consider your options.
