Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Quicken has not part of Intuit for a few years. Thank god! I am definitely afraid of repeating what happened with Quicken Mac 2007. Quicken for Mac has had a Native Apple Silicon binary (universal binary) for 5 years.

I know many people have said here that the current version of TurboTax, for the Mac was developed with Xcode. I assume there is another reason why they haven’t been able to come out with an Apple Silicon binary. Every time I do an update to the current software, I hope that it all of a sudden will say universal binary.

Unlike with quicken back with Rosetta 1, turboTax now offers an online solution. That solution may not be adequate for some people. However, my fear is they want to force people to use that, and May discontinue supporting macOS going forward.
