I can't open an existing 2024 tax file using my Intuit Desktop.

I completed my tax files in early April using Intuit Desktop. It is now October and I want to do some projections, however I can't open the file.  I see on saved on my laptop, yet when I select it TT doesn't complete the task of opening.
