I am on Workers Comp starting April 2024 to current. My employer requested I make do on my 2024 health insurance premiums the following year, 2025. I paid them with post tax dollars at the end of Jan 2025. I now have a deduction on my 2025 Pay Stub showing what I paid. It is listed in the Deductions in Arrears area. I am still on Workers Comp for 2025 and I will not have any 2025 earned income. It's looking like, from what I've researched, that I can take the Health Insurance Premium deduction, but only if I itemize and is subject to 7.5% of AGI. My question is am I able to reimburse myself through my HSA? Any help is appreciated.
