I have spent about 3 hours trying to install TT2023 on my new Win 11 desktop. Part of those 3 hours have been reading all the posts I can find about bypassing the update process. (TTax 2024 download is fine, but I like to have the last 3 years installed if I need to go back to past years.) I have done the following:
1. Uninstalled and re-installed 4 times - using default location for install
2. Right-click to 'run as administrator'
3. Turned off anti-virus programs
4. Downloaded the 'superpatch' for this year and it tells me that I do not have 2023 installed??
The main problem is that the 'No' button for doing an update is greyed out so I cannot bypass the update, my only choice is to say yes and then it fails. What else can be done???
