Since I couldn't get a response from anyone. I ended up using a separate worksheet for each. The at least cleared all the error codes. It doesn't seem to make a difference in my total tax owed. Just to be safe I paid for Audit defense this time even though the analysis says the chance of audit is low. Turbo Tax hasn't fixed this quirk for the last five years and its kind of ridiculous their program works this way
