Can anyone point to specific information, that H&R Block 2025 will be Windows 10 compatible? Their web site is a real cheeseball. By that I mean, it looks like they paid someone $300 to throw up a bunch of giant graphics and a "buy it" button at the bottom. No useful information there, whatsoever. If you click "buy H&R Block" it doesn't even tell you what software version you're buying. (Golly, that would create annual web site maintenance!)
If you buy H&R from their page today, you get the 2024 version. You have to intuit that. (See what I did there?)
If not H&R Block, I guess I'm in the ballpoint pen camp, from now on. I'm not installing 3GB of AI spyware on my PC in the form of Win 11. Heck no.
It's not that my taxes are hard, and I learned arithmetic in 5th grade. It just makes me grumpy, dealing with vague IRS instructions on what goes in the little boxes on the forms. It's worth $50-$75 to me, to use a computer interface. If that's no longer an option, that's too bad.
