Get your taxes done using TurboTax
You must enter separate K-1 worksheets if you have more than one type of foreign gross income in columns (b), (c), (d), and/or (e)."
When you create additional worksheets for more than one type of foreign gross income, the instructions appears to say enter each of columns b,c d and/or e on a separate worksheet.
when you use easy steps and come to the page on foreign gross income information, it ask for line 24 information on columns b, c d e and f and g.
am I correct to assume the first schedule should income columns b f and g and additional worksheets will leave those blank and report each of c,d and e? These will be separate again from the worksheets covering Box 1, 2 and 3 income types on the K-1s. In other words, you have the first K-1 covering Box 1 and you can enter K-3 columns b, f and g. On the second and third worksheet you enter box 2 and 3 and nothing else. on the fourth fifth and sixth worksheets you enter columns c, d and e only. I fail to comprehend why Turbo Tax designed its software this way when they are all reported for the sameK-1/K-3.
Can you please confirm my understanding is correct?
Thank you
