You may have inadvertently clicked the box to create an amended state return. To remove the "amended " trigger from your Idaho return, please follow these steps:
- Sign back in to your return and click on the State Taxes tab.
- Click on the Edit box next to your state return.
- Continue through the screens until you reach Amended Return (Form 43). [Screenshot #1]
- Mark the No button and click Continue.
- You should now be able to e-file your state return.
