There are millions of people who will not be buying a new (Win11) computer for any number of reasons, but, like myself will pay Microsoft $30 for the additional 1 year of support of Win10. I do not want to use the online version of TurboTax. So my choices, and probably many of the others who will continue on Win10 at least for the coming year, will be to switch to another tax software such as H&R Block. As long as that turns out to be satisfactory I see no reason to come back to TurboTax.
Going to a friend or family member to do your taxes? Umm, no, not going to visit a neighbor and ask them can I use their computer every time I need to enter more data.
