I am confused:-(
The Health Equity rep told me that a corrected 1099-SA will be issued after they process the $777 excess contribution. The excess contribution is for 2024. Tax filing deadline for 2024 for North Carolina is 9/15/2025. I have already filed my 2024 tax return so I should file an amended 2024 tax return after the $777 excess is removed.
The rep didn't say the 1099-SA to be issued is a 2025 1099-SA (wouldn't that be available in 2026?), she said a corrected 1099-SA will be issued.
I just have to wait to see happens.
