Thanks Champ RJS for the feedback! Yes it seems he did file with inaccurate estimates paid included in it. The FEDS did bill us for the tax year 2024 (based on errors) after filing it and we paid it with some added fees so I'm not sure if that would still need to be amended for 2024. It seems like this would affect the payments and estimates going forward as well. We told the accountant we did not make the estimates during '24 prior to him completing the taxes. The only one we made was in Jan '24 so now I see this is applied to '23 year taxes but we will check this online as well to make sure it was applied to '23.
