I am a non-resident alien (NRA) and recently discovered that TurboTax does not support Form 1040-NR, which is required for my tax status. However, the software allowed me to complete and pay for a return that is not valid for non-residents. I believe this is misleading and has caused me to file an incorrect tax return.
Per the TurboTax Satisfaction Guarantee, I am requesting a full refund of the $143 charge, as the product did not meet my needs and was not suitable for my tax situation.
