Hi, I’m an international student, but I’ve been in the U.S. long enough to be considered a resident alien for tax purposes (I passed the Substantial Presence Test). While using TurboTax, there’s a checkbox that says:
“I am a nonresident alien or dual-status alien spouse.”
Should I check this box? Or should I leave it unchecked since I’m filing as a resident alien?
Just want to make sure I’m doing this correctly. Thanks!
