I have the exact same issue except that my son fixed it and filed an amended return but I'm still being rejected because of the first return where he claimed he wasn't a dependent. I don't really know how to fix this. My return is correct and his has been fixed but the IRS isn't recongnizing the update on the amended return. Any suggestions? Thanks
