Your best option is to troubleshoot this using Forms Mode.
- Open your return and click the Forms icon in the TurboTax header.
- At the top of the list of Forms in My Return on the left, look for Information Wks.
- Click the form name to open it in the large window.
- Now click the Errors icon above the list of forms to open a message box below the open form.
- Scroll down to Part V - Taxpayer Signature Information.
- Make whatever changes are needed according to the error message. Any field in red needs to be fixed. In some cases, the easiest resolution is to leave the SSN box blank for the Signing Partner.
- Also check the K-1 Partner for the Partner Representative. You may need to uncheck the PR box on this form in order to make changes to the information Worksheet.
- Open and review any other forms with red exclamation marks beside the form name.
- Click Step-by-Step in the header to return to the main screens.
- Now run SmartCheck again to see if any errors remain.
