Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Did the comments above answer your questions?

Yes, you have until April 15th to file your 2021 return, unless you actually filed an extension (Form 4868) for your 2021 return in which case, you have until October 15, 2025 to file your 2021 return.

HOWEVER, as noted above, if you are not expecting a refund, then you don't really have a due date, but you are motivated to file in order to stop the amount of interest that you will owe the IRS. The longer you don't file, the more interest you will owe.

File your return as soon as you can, and if the IRS determines that you owe interest, then they will send you a bill for it.

But just get it done, before the IRS really notices that you haven't filed and sends you a grumpy letter.
