if this got cut off in the title, the turbotax prompt line is:
"is any of this interest from funds with less than 50% of their assets invested in [your state] and U.S. obligations?"
the fund in question is totally 100 % invested in the various U.S. states. But only a few percent invested in my state. So in the past I've answered NO, I'm less than 50% invested in my state and U.S. obligations. (believing it was talking about federal government bonds when it said "U.S. Obligations".
so, do the States count as U.S. obligations or not?
