Someone at HR Block may have suggested that, but their software does not require it. You can enter it as pension income without having to file a substitute 1099. Between TaxAct and HR Block, TaxAct was more straight forward and they have an entry form made for the purpose. So, TurboTax is the only software that is preventing it between those three.
