I've been unable to connect with turbotax support, but i bet someone here can answer this question - about where the irs shows you how they are doing depreciation on your asset
i know that i should have used one of the MARCS options - half year, or mid-quarter, to calculate the depreciation on the truck we purchased for my husband's business, and I did neither. I know that i saw somewhere the actual amounts calculated by the irs, and when they considered it depreciated, and it didn't match mine. i need to know what document or tax report i would have seen that in. i don't need to know how, but where that information would be reflected, i need to know where i would see what the irs calculated and when they considered it completely depreciated. would it have been in a tax report? i see a two year comparison in 2018, but not in 2017 software.
