Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Thanks PatriciaV!  You solved my problem.  I'm using TT Premier 2024 Desktop for Windows.  This is definitely a TT  bug.  I have two 1099-Misc forms for the same property, one Rental and one Royalty.  If I enter the Misc Royalty and the Misc Rental using the same name, then only the Rental income will be displayed on the "Rental Properties and Royalties" section of "Your 2024 Income Summary".  I do not get a TT error message though, the displayed income is just incorrect (it's only the Rental income).  If I use two different names for the Misc forms, then the sum of Royalty and Rental incomes will appear in "Rental Properties and Royalties" properly.  The bug is easily and consistently reproducible.  TT should at least warn me or give an error message, never display the wrong data.  And I didn't investigate further, but I suspect having two MISC forms entered with the same name also somehow affects up 1099-Div data.  When I saw the Misc Rental/Royalty bug, I also had incorrect 1099-Div income which I had downloaded from my provider.  Thanks again!
