This yr, I am filing as head of household since last yr, my spouse and I separated. When I am going through the filing process, it says I underpaid in taxes and there is a fee.
It asked me about my 2023 filing status, tax liability (form 2210), 2023 AGI. Why? I updated my filing status when the separation was finalized via W2. Why would it ask me about 2023 when my filing status was different?
