If the amount shows as income for 2023, you will claim that income.
If the amount re-paid is less than 3,000, you will not be able to use claim of right repayment.
The procedure used to claim a repayment of less than 3,000 was suspended for tax years 2018 through 2025 because of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
