You can't access Form 8949 directly. TurboTax will generate that for you directly. instead you will need to enter information in the step by step mode in your program and enter the information as if you had a 1099B. Here is how to enter.
- Go to Wages and Income
- Investment Income
- Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds other
- When the question is asked, indicate you don't have a 1099B.
- Proceed through until you reach the sale section. Here you will record information regarding the stock sale, proceeds, long-term, short term and any pertinent information regarding the sale.
