REU stipend as only income or to offset qualified expenses

My daughter did a "Research Experience for Undergraduates" internship at Kansas State University last summer 2024. She received $6600.00 thru a stipend as per the university. They say they will not be sending her a w-2 or a 1099 or any sort.  They did not withhold anything. I intend on creating a 1098-T entry for it and enter the 6600 as an entry in box 5 (scholarships/grants). Can I will  use that amount to offset other qualified education expenses she has from another 1098-T sent from the college she attends during the year. It has some remaining qualified expenses not already written off from other scholarships?

Or is there another way?
