Thanks, David. For me, last year all went smoothly. This year either TT Fed or NY State must have made a change. I was able to set up only the first estimated payment for 2025 according to a pop up message. I went back and deleted the other three payment dates and it went through. I'll need to go to the NYS tax website to enter the other three.
I received email notification that NY accepted my return and my first scheduled estimated payment for 2025. However, I saw no acknowledgment of acceptance of the payment owed for 2024.
I also received acknowledgment of acceptance of my Federal return but no mention of my balance payment or of the four estimated payments.
I thought I was finished. Now I either have to wait and see what other emails will come or try to figure our whether I will have to manually schedule those estimated payments. I have an account with EFTPS (Electronic Federal Tax Payment System for those unfamiliar with this site) and see all of last year's payment in my history, but nothing yet about these recent payments.
Thoughts, anyone?
