I just today (4/5) experienced exactly what you described. TT would not let me finish unless I went back and deleted all of the estimated payments I tried to set up for NY except for the first. I received the same error message as you about deleting all but the first. I did and then it let me move on.
I also have a question about the Federal Estimated payments as well. I set up Direct Debit with bank info as usual for all payments. The estimated amounts seem so much higher than last year. Will all these come out automatically including the one for NY?
Do I need to go to the NYS tax website or the IRS site to check and/or make corrections?
