the system requirements for 2024 require a 64-bit operating system for any desktop version. There is no provision to install on a 32-bit system. You can always use online.
if you think needing a 64-bit OS for 2024 is bad, Turbotax has announced it may not support desktops using Windows 10 for 2025. Windows 11 64-bit may be required.
