Yes, it sounds right if you didn't have a question about how much of the dividends should be taxed to Massachusetts (MA). Please see the information below to enter the MA portion when using the Step by Step process.
The screen in MA for Interest and Dividends allows you to select 'Yes' to the question 'Do you have any additional interest or dividend income to report or any to exclude?' The next screen is 'Additional Interest and Dividends' where you can enter dividends taxable to MA only, another screen for 'Other Taxable Interest and Dividends' that allows a description and amount.
