If you received two 1095-A forms due to moving between states, you can enter both forms in TurboTax by following these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to the Health Insurance Section: In TurboTax,
  • go to the "income" section,
  • Go to deductions and credits
  • Medical
  • Health Insurance."

Provide the Initial 1095-A: When asked, indicate that you were enrolled in a Marketplace plan (Obamacare) and input the information from your first 1095 A document.

 

      2. Add the Second 1095-A:

 

  • After entering the first form, TurboTax will show a summary screen of your 1095-A entries. Look for an option like "Add Another" or "Enter Another 1095-A" and input the details from your second form.
  • Ensure that the coverage periods on both forms align correctly and do not overlap. TurboTax will use this information to calculate your Premium Tax Credit (Form 8962).
