If you are seeing only a 5-digit PIN number, that is not the IP PIN.
To enter your IP PIN issued by the IRS for identity protection using a desktop version of TurboTax, go to Other Tax Situations > Other Return Info and click Start beside Identity protection PIN to enter your information.
