When SS mistakenly issue SSA1042S instead of SSA1099 for a green card holdr, SS doesn't have enough time to correct by 4-15 Can I report SSA1099 in TurboTax, Pay tax?
When SS mistakenly issued a form SSA-1042S instead of SSA-1099 for a green card holder while I am visiting overseas where that country has a tax treaty and SS does not have enough time to correct it before April 15th, can I report on the SSA-1099 in TurboTax and make a tax payment? Previously, I was told by the CPA that as long as I have a green card, I should claim US Tax as I am residing in the USA, also.
As an additional question, For the Turbotax help they are offering with the expert support with some fee can help this kind of situation also?
