1) I do not have anything for joint applicants, so I’m still unclear why this issue still exists. What type of statement do I need to include with no joint applicants?
2) Also since I already paid for efiling how can I request a refund if the resolution is to mail in my taxes. The most frustrating part of this whole issue is that TurboTax charged me, and THEN my return was rejected. It should not pass the final review step so I’m not charged. I have been through this with my business taxes and if you request a refund with the online version it is immediately rejected because “you don’t pay until you file” which is very misleading and incorrect.
