Downloading older years' SOFTWARE on a second machine
TurboTax Desktop Home & Business 2020 and 2021 (and more recent missing pieces from my account).
I have 2020-2024 installed on one PC, but my understanding is that it can be installed on another PC also. My wife is trying to do several years of back taxes for her mom and dad in their 90's. (He stopped filing when he was about 89, because he thought his income was too low -- now she's trying to fix things.)
When I go to to the downloads page in my account, the main software for 2020 and 2021 says "ACCESS FROM PREMIER" rather than showing a download button. What does that mean? What's the point of having an account page with prior product information if you can't access it? (I hoped I could attach a screen-shot, but it doesn't look like this forum supports that.)
There are other missing pieces as well -- for instance, for 2023, there is a Maryland state module for download, but not a DC one, which I already USED a year ago and submitted. And there's no FEDERAL tax software download available for 2023, even though I purchased it DIRECTLY FROM INTUIT. (So the state module won't work, without the Federal software being installed first.)
(All the software is on my home PC, but my wife is spending full-time as a caretaker for her mom in Maryland, and wants to be able to do this work on her computer there.)
