i downloaded my tax info from my wells fargo account. in box 12 I have 16,640.82 in exempt interest -dividends. On the last few pages of my tax statement there is a summary of state tax exempt income, and a section that says 1099 div exempt interest-dividends box 12 includes box 13, that includes about 40 + states and totals 6,487.68 in interest-dividends. I tried entering this in turbo tax and the error messages said that the amounts entered in each state are incorrect ....any ideas why ??
