I have the same issue. I have never had to mail in anything but this year, it printed out the DR 1778 along with my return. The problem is that I dont have receipts of the donations I made. In this case, does not sending in the DR 1778 void my return? Would it be best to amend my tax return to just take the charitable donation out?
