Simple Q: RE AMT cap gain carryforward and kids

I did my 13YO's 1040 last year by hand. She had one 1099-B with ~$2k in ST/LT carryforward losses. Super simple, no worries. No AMT.

This year I'm doing it in TT. She has $471 in 1099-Div income, no other items. Very simple 1040, no AMT.

TT is giving me a Cap Ls Carryfwd worksheet with an AMT column that is reducing her AMT ST carryforward by $471.

Q: If she is not required file Form 6251, do I still need to track the reduced AMT carryforward or can I just track the carryforward losses on Schedule D?
