From 8889-T, but no HDHP for 2024
During Smart Check for Federal Taxes, I got following:
Form 8889-T: HDHP coverage check box needs to be checked to indicate the type of coverage held under a high-deductiable plan during 2024.
(Three choices)
No entry
Line 1, self
Line 2, Family
Well, I did not have HDHP for 2024 at all. Except I have a HSA account with leftover funds from many years ago, and that account still accumulates dividends from MMFs for me every year. I do report the dividends for California state tax return, and that's probably why TurboTax thinks I have a HDHP?
What should I do? Should I ignore it? Leave it with No entry? Manually delete form 8889-T?
