I am retired so my income doesn’t come in 4 equal installments.
I tried using the Other Tax Situations, Underpayment Penalty option under Federal Tax – TT just asked for 2023 data and concluded that there was no penalty (probably due to my payment of 110% of my 2023 tax)
I then tried filling in form 2210 Underpayment of estimated tax using Part II, option C – the annualized income installment method – I filled in my data as instructed.
For Part III Section A – line 11(a) – Turbotax entered an amount and referred to the Tax Payments Worksheet. But the amount is not on the Tax Payment Worksheet! I have no idea what this number is. Is this correct? What do I do now?
