NO, that's not what I meant! You are Taxpayer 1 (i.e., the primary filer.) I meant for Taxpayer 1 (you) to use your actual 2023 AGI, and for your spouse to use a 2023 AGI of 0.
Do NOT use an AGI of 1 for either of you.
Sorry if I confused you by using the term "Taxpayer 1" for the primary filer. I can't guarantee that will work. But it's at least something to try.
