Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Hey Poncho,

I had the same problem. Any 1099-DIV or -INT that it imported with $0.00 in Box 1, did the same thing when I clicked Review. I called for phone support, shared my screen, and went around and around a couple of times until the agent understood what the problem was. Then he told me to just delete those entries.

The other forms that had some positive number actually did show the data when I hit Review. The agent asked me, "Is that data correct?" I asked him, "How do I tell?" He said, "Look at the document from your financial institution and see if the numbers are the same."

The problem is that TurboTax doesn't show the account number the information pertains to, so I have to go through all my accounts and see if I see those numbers anywhere. I don't know what to do about the entry with numbers I don't see in any of my documents. There used to be a "Show imported documents" command, but I don't see it this year.

It is very frustrating that with all the work that goes into creating this program every year, that they don't catch problems like this. All my suggestions from previous years have fallen on deaf ears, too.
