Check the code in box 7 of the 1099R.
Mine was erroneously designated as Code 2, which applies only to people 59 1/2 years old or younger.
Should have been Code 7 for normal distribution.
When I changed to 7, program worked perfectly. It wasn’t TurboTax that was the problem but my plan administrator. The error had gone on for a decade but only became issue this year cause I turned 73 and rmd law kicked in
