Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Thanks, but that doesn't seem to work for me. Mine are inherited, box 7 "4D" Death-Non-qualified distributions. For inherited IRA's, pensions etc., you must calculate the RMD separately for each account, which I have. Based on your suggestions, I tried shorting one RMD by $5 and increasing one by $5 so they tied in total, but I am still getting the errors:
- Says I owe a large penalty and then the loop begins again. (I do not owe a penalty, all RMD's taken.)
- Type of account should not be selected. (No choice for non-qualified, but "Other" was used as TT said)
- "Yes" RMD should not be selected (really it should)
- RMD amount should not be entered (it should, I've tried -0-, a few dollars up and down, nothing works)
If I take the data out per above, I get errors saying I need to pick a type of account (403B or Qualified dist.)
If you have another suggestion, let me know. Thanks.
