If you haven't filed the taxes yet, you can go back to where you entered the W-2s.
To enter a W-2 Manually
- Under Federal
- Click Wages & Income a menu will appear.
- Select Job (W-2) [Add/Edit]
- If your old W-2 is listed - you can [Review]
- Check your entries against the actual form.
If you already did file the tax return, it may be a little more complicated.
You should have a copy of your tax return. It is form 1040
Also your W-2s from both employers
Combine the W-2s for these boxes
- Total W-2 box 1
- Compare to Box 1a on 1040

- Total Box 2 of the W-2
- Compare to 25a on the 1040
This will give you an indication if it was posted correctly
