I used both tools Turbox mentioned Tax Calculator that got me $1790; Tax Bracket calculator got me 10% bracket.
Our married filing 1040-SR form:
line 15- taxable income we got $17892 was clear.
line 16- tax $ 3925 NOT CLEAR
I am just trying to understand how does Turbotax calculate to get us in tax amount $3925. Why this process is not transparent?
