Are your holdings in Bitcoin as an investment?  Or something else?

In TurboTax Premium Online, Bitcoin holdings as an investment are likely accessed by following these steps:

1. Down the left side of the screen, click Federal.
2. Down the left side of the screen, click Wages & Income.
3. Click the down arrow to the right of Investments and Savings.
4. Click to the right of Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other (1099-B).
5. Click Add investments.
6. On the Let's import your tax info screen, Bitcoin may be imported.
7. Or select Enter a different way, and click on Cryptocurrency.
8. A .CSV may be imported.

In TurboTax Premium Online, you are able to remove the self-employment activity by following these steps:

• Down the left side of the screen, click Federal.
• Down the left side of the screen, click Wages & Income.
• Click the down arrow to the right of Self-employment.
• Click to the right of Self-employment income and expenses.
• At the screen Your 2024 self-employed work summary, click the delete trashcan to remove the self-employment activity.
