Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Most versions of TurboTax can handle your foreign rental situation. You enter your Rental Income/Expenses the same as if you had a US rental property, and this is reported on Schedule E in your tax return.
When you first set up your property, TurboTax guides you through entering your income/expenses. If the foreign country collects tax on your rental income, you can also claim a Foreign Tax Credit on your tax return.
Here's more info on Rental Property Deductions and Claiming the Foreign Tax Credit.
If you choose a TurboTax Desktop product, you can prepare/Efile up to five Federal returns and one State return. You may pay a small fee for Efiling your state return. With this product you have access to all the forms in your return, which can help you to see how things are calculated more easily.
If you choose TurboTax Online, you can prepare your Federal return at no cost; however, there is an additional cost to Efile and prepare a State return. If you start a return in the online product and decide you want the desktop product instead, you'll be able to transfer your tax file from online to desktop easily.
Here's a link that shows the various TurboTax Offerings to help you select the product that is best for you and compare the prices of each.
