I did not add my son as a dependent but added him to my return filing as head of household. It led to a question of is there an agreement between both parents and I put yes and I was able to qualify for the eitc. I have been given conflicting information on this. Can I please get clarification to how this works between me and my child’s mother. My son does not show in dependent section
