I have been a customer for something like 30 years and for the longest time I got either a disc or download and paid maybe $50. Now I'm being continually routed to online filing and I get to the end to find I'm being billed $199 as it includes professional help. I'm a tax preparer, I do not need someone else's help and I am not paying that kind of money after all these years. I'll go elsewhere or file on paper if I have to before I'll pay that kind of money to file my return.
