Travel nurse taxes
Hello.
i am a resident of PA and was a travel nurse in NJ and MD. No state taxes were withheld in PA, but taxes were withheld in NJ and MD. I was under the impression that I still have to file for resident return in PA, and nonresident returns for the other states and use that credit towards what I would owe to PA. I took my forms to someone for taxes and was told my withholdings were wrong and should have been withheld from PA not the others. Can someone clarify this for me? My company also reviewed my w-2s and states that my withholdings were correct.
